Just Makes Sense provides tailored workshops for businesses large and small aimed at ‘unlocking’ innovation within your organisation.
These workshops don’t involve jump up and down motivational exercises, nor will the end result be a report offering ‘recommendations’ on how your business should be run as is often the case with many well established consultants.
Just Makes Sense Innovations workshops instead aim to facilitate innovative thinking and more importantly action stemming from all areas of your organisation. Too often the responsibility of making improvements within companies is left to the specific functional area. The problem with this is often the people involved become so used to doing things in a particular way that nothing significant ever really happens. Sure if you your business is incredibly profitable don’t change for the sake of it, however one key element of all companies that have displayed long term prosperity is the ability to change when necessary, always keeping one step ahead of the competition.
The workshops run for approximately 1/2 a day with a maximum of 20 people ideally a representation from all different functional areas of your organisation.
The workshops cover;
1. The value of innovation and examples of innovation at work. Remember all businesses large and small started from nothing.
2. Understanding where your business is at - through the eyes of employees
3. Recognising the current barriers to change
4. Facilitating the submission of innovative ideas across 6 key areas;
- Product
- Service
- Process
- Promotion
- Strategic direction
- General ideas including Social Innovation
5. Develop a 12 month plan for how to action these innovations and how to ensure the process of continued facilitation of innovative ideas is achieved
A follow up review workshop at 3 months and 12 months following the initial workshop is highly recommended.
