One such solution is ‘Wave Energy’, and Australian listed clean energy Company ‘Carnegie Corporation’ has just been awarded a license by the South Australian Government to utlise 17,000 ha of seabed for this innovative energy solution.
As we search for renewable energy solutions, surely solar power, particularly in Australia, is a logical choice.
EnviroMission are pioneering the use of the ‘Solar Tower’ concept (designed by Stuttgart based engineer Professor Jorg Schlaich) and have earmarked a site in the south west corner of New South Wales which has the potential to produce enough energy to power 200,000 households, reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by over 900,000 tonnes per annum.
